Test world
Before anyone plays, the world is run with thousands of simulated agents to see what they do with the rules. Each run below is simulated, and each one changes what gets built next.

The swarm testrunning
3,000simulated accounts
90game days
2,000 honest players and a 1,000-account swarm
What it showed
- In a smaller trial, a swarm gathering by hand around the starting towns earned 27 credits per account, against 20 for an honest beginner.
- Spread out across the map, two to a plot, it earned 48 per account against 70 for a beginner, so spreading out doesn't pay.
Next
- The full 90-day run finishes today. A daily limit on how much each account can sell as scrap is the fix being considered.

The farm test
2,000simulated accounts
90game days
2 h 33 minto run
exactreplay of the record
1,800 honest players and a 200-account farm under one controller
What it showed
- The farm earned about 19 times what an honest player earned per account (4,493 credits against 231), and took 13.6% of the new money with 10% of the accounts.
- Almost all of it came from credit mining. The farm's master crafter built 13 credit miners for its members, and they earned nearly three times what an honest miner did.
Next
- Credit mining is the lever to adjust. A miner-heavy farm test joins at the balance stage, when the other resources and recipes are in.

The first full test world
2,000simulated players across seven towns
90game days
about 2 hto run
exactreplay of the record
What it showed
- Everything worked together for 90 game days. Replaying the record rebuilt the whole world exactly, every event in the same order.
- Credit miners took about 70% of the new money. The first harvester went down on day 21 and the first credit miner on day 23.
- Beginners earned nothing on their first day, and metal piled up faster than it was used.
Next
- Balance is tuned once the other resource families and recipes exist, so the economy is judged with everything in it.
